When in Rome

So my first night in Rome I arrive around 6pm checked into the hostel and headed out for supper and a walk around 7pm . By the time I found a grocery store and stumbled upon Foro Romano, the sun was starting to set and I had a romantic picnic  with my self. I then proceeded to get lost and finally made it back to my hostel at around 10pm. At least the next day I had a much better grip on the city.

So if you think that would have been a nice picnic spot all I had to do was turn my head to the right and boom there it was the Vitto Riano.
It's.
 MASSIVE.
To get perspective look from the horse straight down to the wreath, on either side you will see two tiny guards.

Forno Romano by day

Vitto Riano by day, this was my favourite building in Rome. Not only does it command respect, in its underbelly it houses a lovely museum, and on the top you can go for lunch at a lovely cafe which boasts terrific views of the city.

Changing of the guard

Again, I urge you scroll back up and look at the full shot of the building, so you can have a better perspective of the size.

We always love a man in uniform.

The Colosseo

The latest addition to my favourite park list, the beautiful and serene Villa Borghese

I got to spend a whole day reading under the sun, thanks to @jesrip <3

To Rat

To the best Rat I know, other then baby Ray.
 Happy Birthday.

 -Horse

Mr. Roma

Rome is  definitely a business man, one who only wears Armani suits. The jacket showcases his broad shoulders from The Citta Del Vaticano to  Stazione Termini and  then tapers in perfectly at the waist. The Vittoriano and The Colosseo are the buttons, and his pocket square covers his heart of Villa Borgesse. If you look closely you can see his Bernini cuff links, what can I say the man’s sharp.

He’s not young, but  he’s timeless in the way that men get, when they age well. He’s a lover of all things and all creatures fine. He is as chivalrous as the most well bread of gentlemen and as handsome as a Chianti Classico. He’s spicy and bold with tannins that are forgivingly arrogant.
His windy side streets, run like the perfect wrinkles, off of dark dancing eyes, showcasing his many personalities. His jaw line foreshadowns, his cunning whit. He can speak intelligently about any subject.

The Casanova before Casanova, you will fall in love with him the second you set foot on Via Del Corso, for better or worse. He is after all the quintessential Italian man.

Good luck girls,
-MC

Firenze

Florence is breath taking. It's small enough so you can see the countryside and I love that. It doesn't swallow you whole like Rome. When the sun shines on your face in Florence, you feel like a free bird.

Duomo at night, beautifully creepy.

I wish my sidewalk chalk looked like this

I see you, Avitar style.

Morning runs along Arno river <3

It's a long way down

Dear someone, you have seemed to have lost your keys, I put them [here] for safe keeping

Welcome to Piazalle Michealangelo, a gorgeous set of pathways and stairs leading up to the best look out point in Florence

If I lived in Florence, I would take an evening stroll here on the daily

It feels like you could step into Narnia at any given moment... do you believe in magic?

Le View

I wish I could share the memory with you, pictures just don't do it justice.

Giardino della Rose, let's talk about destination weddings.

Local Artist, who's business card I lost ...

Hot lips toilet, so great.

Easy Living, indeed.

I will leave you with "Wanny Di Filippo's Florence", presented by Nowness
