Leica M7 Edition, Orange Hermès Camera

 This is my dream camera, well this and the classic black. The orange is special becuase only 100 were ever made. Tape

The Steps

- Paint on a full set of colour to start, I chose MAC : Earthly Harmony

- WAIT UNTIL DRY

- Apply tape, leaving either the top half or the bottom half of your nail exposed. I chose to alternate between the two.

TIP:  I always stick the tape to the palm of my hand before applying it to the nail. If the tape is to sticky it will peal off the base colour.

- Apply second layer of colour to the exposed part of your nail. Wait for the polish to set, then remove tape. 

-WAIT UNTIL DRY, if you add the top coat to soon your colours will run into each other

- Seal with top coat

-Then repeat with your last  layer of colour

-And don't forget to top coat!

Blown breakers, Stoping floods and Red Valentino

It started off a beautiful day here in my neighbourhood, Jean D'arc

until I blew all the breakers in my apartment...

From pervious Canadian experiences of "blowing a breaker," you flip the out of place switch back into place and "Voila!", the power returns.  What would you do in this case, when all of the switches are going in the same direction?

 Well, since you asked I  : 

A)Started singing Adel, because it's a tad scary when the power goes out

 B) Lit candles 

C) Pulled out "The Girls Guide to Everything", an old favourite of mine since high school

Sadly there was nothing to assist me in my book, but there was plenty of other useful things like:

-How to find and delete viruses

-How to care for tulips (folded down this corner #blackthumb)

-How to hail a cab across the world (Trust me it varies!)

-How to look fresh after a bender

-How to stop a flood

I had to resort the tried and true "damsel in distress"  tactic and asked one of my neighbours to help me. Problem solved. Later that day, I marched my fur trimmed booties straight  to Capitole for the sale frenzy that is France in January.
